Effective Way To Prevent Colorectal Cancer with Various Screening

According to the American Society of Clinical Oncology, more than one million people detected with colon cancer survived in the United States every year. Nowadays more people survive because of timely screening and following treatment.  Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer among men and women, especially in America. Screening tests play an important role to catch any sign of colorectal cancer at an early stage. The specialists can identify the polyps before developing into cancer. If a doctor finds cancerous polyps at an early stage by doing the screening, they can easily treat the disease and ensure it does not turn to be a fatal one.

What Is Colon Cancer?

When a malignant tumor develops in the rectum or colon which is the lower portion of your digestive system, then it is called colorectal cancer.

The Symptoms of Colorectal Cancer

People often ignore symptoms and realized when the polyp is already developed into cancer and reached an advanced stage. Most of the patients do not notice any physical symptoms when the cancer is in an early stage. Due to this reason, people often fail to understand the importance of the screening tests and avoid visiting a doctor.
